If you were not able to make payment, your registration is pending until payment is received.
Please contact the League as soon as possible if you experienced any technical trouble that prevented your transaction to be completed.
If payment was not submitted for other reasons and if it is not received by APRIL 31, 2023, when summer registration closed, you’ll be placed at the bottom of the waitlist. Any registrations that are unpaid by the draft will become ineligible to play.
Season information & key dates
After the draft, you’ll receive information about your team from the captain(s). The season schedule and draft board will be published on WestDenHL.com soon after it concludes. Until then, here are a few notes about the summer.
WAIT LIST
As previously noted in the registration announcement email, a wait list will be formed after the league reaches 90 skaters and six goalies (96 total players).
If the wait list reaches at least 15 skaters and a goalie, the first 15 players* and one goalie on the list will be released into the draft pool. This process will be repeated until May 1st.
(*Returning players will be given priority until April 14th.)
Registration closes April 31st, the League will not accept any more rostered players after that date. Waitlist players may join the Active Sub list. Any fees paid by waitlisted players, will be refunded.
KEY DATES
Here are some key dates for the upcoming season:
- April 5th: Early Bird rates end.
- April 14: Deadline for returning players to reserve a playing spot.
- April 31: Registration closes. (Wait list locked.)
- May 2nd: Summer draft
- May 8th: First games of the season.
- May 29th: NO GAMES (Memorial Day)
- June 22th: NO GAMES (Dawg Bowl)
- July 3rd: NO GAMES (Independence Day)
- August (early): Season ends
- Oct (early) Winter season starts.
*These are tentative dates and subject to change.
TEAM COMPOSITION SUMMER CHANGE
This summer fewer players will be placed on team’s “protected list.” This is to provide more circulation of players amongst the teams during the short season to encourage the social nature of the League.
